Concerts, Films, Opera and Theatre

Museums are places to be entertained and inspired, and we try to make learning fun and our events unusual. The Brunels did not just build bridges and tunnels, they organised concert parties, dance events, underwater banquets, fairgrounds and shopping arcades. Brunel was not just an engineer, he was an impresario and showman.

Carols with St Martin’s Voices

Join St Martin’s Voices for a beautiful evening of festive music and carol singing in the atmospheric surroundings of the tunnel shaft of the Brunel Museum. You’ll leave full of the joys of the season and ready to start your celebrations with family, friends and loved ones.

The Midnight Apothecary will be serving Christmas drinks in Brunel’s candlelit roof garden immediately above the tunnel shaft from 5pm. Guests are welcome to join us before and/or after each performance until 10pm for deluxe hot rum and whisky toddies, beer, wine and soft drinks around the firepit.

Please note both concerts will last for approximately 45 minutes without an interval.

Please also note, the Brunel Museum has limited accessibility – click here for more information.
