Week 2, day 4:
Today we began by making invitations for our parents for tomorrow’s Fancy Fair. Ten we started making our paper mache fish colourful by covering them in small pieces of tissue paper to make scales. With eyes, fins and a tail stuck on, our fish are complete! We were then invited for another talk with Robert, the museum’s director, in the Brunel Museum shaft. We learnt more about the first tunnel that was built under the river Thames and Brunel used the shaft to do so. After lunch, we painted our clay landmarks. We finished today watching a film. We cannot wait for tomorrow to show off all our best work from the week!
