French Révolution Film Screenings

Weekly from Wednesday 17 September to Wednesday 8 October

18:30-22:00

Book admission to all four films

As part of our French Revolution Season in Autumn 2025, join us to watch four specially-chosen revolution-themed films.

Starting with Dangerous Liaisons, set in the hedonism of pre-Revolutionary France, we’ll then move to Marie Antoinette and see the start of the Revolution itself. Napoleon will then take us through the Revolutionary Decade and into the start of the 1800s, before Les Misérables caps the screenings with the July Revolution of 1830 and its aftermath.

All films will be shown in the Brunels’ Thames Tunnel Shaft, 60 feet underground.
