Brunel Museum seeks LGBTQ+ engineers to change perceptions

We are looking for LGBTQ+ engineers to help us with a series of films aimed at changing perceptions of what makes an engineer.

We aim to release this series of short films to coincide with London Pride (11 and 12 of September 2021)

The museum wanted to find a meaningful way to take part in the 2021 event.

“With more and more people sharing their gender identity and sexual identity on the census, we’re seeing people a lot more comfortable to share exactly who they are, and that should be the case for engineering too,” Museum Director Katherine McAlpine said.

If you would be willing to consider taking part, please email hello@thebrunelmuseum.com with the subject line LGBTQ+ Films, and we will be in touch.

We are working with Pride in STEM, an award-nominated British charitable trust dedicated to supporting and showcasing LGBT people in science, technology, engineering, and maths.

We look forward to hearing from you!
