On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026, those with a Lottery ticket can get free tickets to the Brunel Museum to explore the story of the world’s first underwater tunnel.
Tickets will need to be booked in advance via the Museum’s website, using the code LOTTERY26 at checkout.
Built by Marc Brunel, with the assistance of his son Isambard Kingdom Brunel and hundreds of miners, bricklayers, and labourers, the Thames Tunnel was a groundbreaking project which made the tube network possible. Originally a pedestrian tunnel filled with shops and entertainment, it was later converted for use by trains and is now used daily by thousands of people travelling on the Windrush Line. Explore the story of the Tunnel, and go 40 feet underground into the Tunnel Shaft, as part of your visit.
To claim your free ticket, use the booking form below and select a timeslot on either Saturday 7 or Sunday 8 March — then enter code LOTTERY26 at checkout. You’ll need to bring your digital ticket, along with a Lottery ticket (physical or digital), on the day and show both at the desk.
One lottery ticket must be shown for each free ticket. Free tickets not accompanied by a Lottery ticket will not be valid.
