Thames Tunnel Peepshow Replica

£13.00

Peep shows were popular Victorian-era souvenirs, designed to resemble miniature stage sets. When extended and viewed through the small opening, they create a striking illusion of depth and perspective.

This particular peep show depicts the historic Thames Tunnel – the world’s first successful underwater tunnel – engineered by Sir Marc Brunel and his son, Isambard. Through the view hole, you can glimpse the lively and dramatic scene that once fascinated Victorian audiences.

These modern interpretations are handcrafted by Papeti, a small creative studio based in Barcelona.
