Join us at the Brunel Museum on April 22, 2023, for a special event in celebration of Earth Day! From 11am to 12:30pm, visitors can get up close with the Teredo Navalis – the shipworm which inspire Marc Brunel.
Scientist Reuben Shipway will share his knowledge about these intriguing creatures and their role in marine ecosystems.
Aftee the talk, families are invited to take part in The Wild Escape project, a major creative project with over 500 museums participating, inspired by the wildlife found in museum and gallery collections. On Earth Day 2023, children will take part in a drawing activity, and their pictures will be brought together in an epic collective artwork unveiled on the same day by The Wild Escape.
